Recent medical scenarios for my three year old son- 

Scenario One
Medical issues: Fever for three days and an ear infection 2/7-2/9
Treatment plan: Acupuncture once or twice a day for three days
Patient satisfaction evaluation: poor-he hates needles!!!
Clinical outcome evaluation: great-fever and infection resolved :)
Cost: none

Scenario Two
Medical issues: Profuse and prolonged nose bleeding for 20 min. on 2/10
Treatment plan: El Camino hospital Emergency Room packing and observation
Patient satisfaction evaluation: poor-he hates the pressure!!!
Clinical outcome evaluation: great-bleeding stopped :)
