Dr. Tian is a licensed acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practitioner at HeCares, specializing in sports injury rehabilitation, pain management, and movement-based therapy. With a strong background in sports and strength training, he integrates acupuncture, manual therapy, and exercise-based rehabilitation to help patients recover from injuries, prevent future setbacks, and optimize physical performance.

Dr. Tian’s expertise in sports medicine is complemented by over four years of experience as a personal trainer, allowing him to bridge the gap between movement science and traditional healing methods. Whether treating acute injuries, chronic pain, or mobility restrictions, he takes a functional approach to patient care, tailoring treatments to each individual’s activity level and lifestyle.
In addition to his work at HeCares, Dr. Tian also serves as an acupuncturist for the Alameda County Behavioral Health Department’s East & West Mental Health Model, where he contributes to integrative approaches in community health. His involvement in this program reflects his broader commitment to holistic wellness, including stress management, mental health support, and overall well-being.

Dr. Tian also has extensive training in women’s health, particularly in the treatment of menstrual irregularities. He draws from mentorship under leading experts in gynecological acupuncture to help patients regulate their cycles, manage hormonal imbalances, and improve reproductive health.
