Internal & Chronic Conditions
MENTAL HEALTH
We treat not only pain and physical traumas but also their psychological effects. Research studies have found acupuncture helps reduce stress level, improve sleep quality, increase energy. We understand there is no "magic pill" for all who are not "feeling right". Acupuncture can go hand in hand with other approaches such as counseling, biofeedback, tapping, emotional freedom technique, and even pharmaceutical treatment etc. At HeCares dozens of therapists are seeing us for body and mind issues. They kindly refer hundreds of their patients to us after they experienced the positive effects from acupuncture.

CANCER SUPPORT
In recent years there has been an increase in cancer patients seeking complementary medicine such as Acupuncture, Acupressure, Shiatsu and Nutritional support to help deal with symptoms. These methods provide non-pharmacologic ways to relieve symptoms and improve quality of life throughout the course of illness. Acupuncture, acupressure, Shiatsu, herbs, etc help support cancer patients by relieving common symptoms like pains and aches, numbness, nausea, vomiting, insomnia and pain. furthermore, the sense of relaxation can help with emotional discomforts such as fear and depression that may arise during the course of illness.
Common complications from cancer and its treatments such as surgeries, Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, etc.
Although some herbs may help boost the energy, ease the fear, or reduce nausea, physicians/oncologists are concerned about drug-herb interactions and others complications. Patients are encouraged and recommended to discuss with their physicians before taking any herbs from any sources.

DERMATOLOGY & SKIN DISORDERS
|
In Chinese medicine theory, skin health has much to do with status of hydration and blood circulation. Our skin health often reflects local blood circulation and internal digestive system health. The food we eat, the time we eat, the temperature its served and our emotional standing as we consume our meals could all affect our skin. Besides eliminating the triggers, we often treat the stomach and spleen in order to improve skin conditions. Some conditions can go into remission with acupuncture and herbal supplements. Some conditions are better managed by regular acupuncture treatment. However, there is no or very little side-effects from Chinese medicine.
