Skin disorders
In Chinese medicine theory, skin health has much to do with status of hydration and blood circulation. Our skin health often reflects local blood circulation and internal digestive system health. The food we eat, the time we eat, the temperature its served and our emotional standing as we consume our meals could all affect our skin. Besides eliminating the triggers, we often treat the stomach and spleen in order to improve skin conditions. Some conditions can go into remission with acupuncture and herbal supplements. Some conditions are better managed by regular acupuncture treatment. However, there is no or very little side-effects from Chinese medicine.
