![]() If the eyes are the windows to our souls, the face is a two way mirror to our identity. Our faces, even at a glance display our moods even our health, conversely what others interpret at this glance can immediately be reflected back, influencing how we see ourselves. This is how we can deduce that a perfect stranger is tired, even chronically tired, or how we can conclude that there may be something green stuck in our teeth based on flash of facial expression. Although much of this is done on a subconscious level, it is our nature as social beings to read each other. Cosmetic and facial rejuvenation Acupuncture has been practiced for just as long as Acupuncture. Historically reserved for royalty, we now serve as kings and queens of our own empires whether this is being an integral part of a company or commanding a family. How we present ourselves has influence on these relationships. As most of our patients know, in Chinese Medicine we use tongue and pulse to diagnose what is occurring inside. The face can be used similarly because of its most abundant blood and nerve supply, making the face truly a reflection of the self whether this is emotional (think worry lines vs. laugh lines), external or internal (think dark circles or hormonal acne). Cosmetic Acupuncture works best when utilized in courses consisting of 10 treatments, with an individual requiring 1-3 courses. Each treatment uses points on the face to create micro trauma which works to promote collagen production and brings elasticity locally. Facial points are paired with points on the body serving to direct further circulation, regulate hormones, and bring the body into homeostasis. Additional benefits include stress reduction as well as allergy relief due to the location and nature of the points. Regenerative Cosmetic Acupuncture is a valuable addition of treatment modalities offered at our Integrative Center, allowing you to put your best face forward. Regenerative Acupuncture works to

HeCares has officially added a service that founder Dr. Frank He has been manning himself for years, 24/7 Emergency Care. For some time now Frank has been envisioning the full effect of this service, a service that has the essence of treating our patients like members of our family or village. With our team expanding, HeCares finally has the capacity to spearhead this vision, that is unique to our clinic. This means that the Team at Integrative Sports Medicine will be available any time day or night for, non life threatening, in-home or in-office visits.
Just last week I had the opportunity to see how valuable this service is. A women in her sixties fell Sunday morning on her outstretched hand fracturing both her radius and ulna in multiple places. With no insurance coverage, the medical bills would have easily reached into the thousands of dollars, including an undeterminable amount of wait time at urgent care or emergency. HeCares was able to provide prompt service at a fraction of the cost sending our new patient in for x ray, as well as using acupuncture to reduce swelling and pain and immobilizing the broken arm. Over the course of this week, just two days later, and with the start of a course of treatments we are already seeing signs of the healing process. Our new patient is not only grateful, but both she and her supportive daughter are entering the office with smiles. A heartwarming thing to see after the tears and panic of Sunday. ![]() Recent medical scenarios for my three year old son- Scenario One Medical issues: Fever for three days and an ear infection 2/7-2/9 Treatment plan: Acupuncture once or twice a day for three days Patient satisfaction evaluation: poor-he hates needles!!! I'm 28 years old and have been seeing Dr. He since I was about 13. I started going for shoulder problems I had as an athlete, followed by shin splints, then knees problems, for intermittent bruises and now see him for my migraines, asthma and pretty much any issues that comes up on a day to day basis. I haven't had the opportunity to see him as frequently in recent years as I would like (hectic commute). However, my mom and I have recommended multiple friends and family members to Dr. He for so many reasons. First and foremost would be his compassion. My mom had a horrible shoulder injury recently and a poor reaction to the medication to which I PANICKED. We called Dr. He and he came over within the hour (ON A SUNDAY) and immediately set my mom at ease, and told us exactly what to do (he even brought his amazing daughter who helped us create a sling out of scarves- I was literally not thinking straight and didn't even consider going to the store to purchase one. Duh) Next would be his thoughtful approach. He truly puts his patients at the center of the business, and works with us on the best method for care, and integrating into our lifestyle. My grandmother was dying from cancer, and he went to her to deliver home care, in a way that worked best for her, but also our family to ease her pain not to mention curing my grandfathers Pneumonia. His honesty. While he is always willing to work with you on any issue, he will always give you sound advice, even if it might be tough to hear. He wants the best for us, and is willing to partner with you through whatever might be happening to get results, where western medicine might have failed. I could go on and on about the millions of things that are amazing about this practice. However, the end result across the board is that you see results, you have a partner in your care management, and you have someone who will be there for you every step of the way. Our friends and family rave, and the reason I was compelled to write this review, is that my mom and I just got a call from a friend thanking us for referring her to Dr. He. She has since (as of this afternoon) referred her mother and grandmother and is starting a conversation about expanding this care to employees at her organization. With Dr. He you're getting more that a Doctor- my mom almost has a life coach and we both have a dear friend. Thank you Dr. He. For EVERYTHING.
